If you look at their site, they have at least 4 U.S. resellers...but they require you to register/log in.

That 4-Port card looks pretty tasty for the price. I see it comes with 512MB onboard memory. Is that more than enough for 4x SSD's (Intel 80GB G2's) attached to the card? Or is that considered a little skimpy? I've never owned a dedicated controller, so I will probably be jumping into a product like this head-first.

With innovative new 6Gb/s SAS product features and support for SATA, SAS and solid-state drives (SSDs)
You need 6Gb/s SAS drives, SATA is still 3Gb/s.

Is the SAS 6Gb/s port really any different than SATA3? Both an SAS Drive & SATA can be connected to it. Is the card intuitive enough to be able to tell a difference what device is connected to it?

The card WILL work with 3 Gb/s SATA and SAS drives. Go to LSI's website and watch their video on the new controllers.

Yes, the card will work with 3Gb/s SATA and SAS drives, I meant that 6Gb/s functionality is available only on certain SAS drives but not on any SATA drives.
