    Amazing shots Tanker.
Fabulous shot for a film P&S Jan.
The Dynamic range is amazing in your picture, nice work labs23
@Mescalamba, I dont think its a HDR, since the exposure is fixed, maybe he might have used the evaluated weighted avg metering (dunno the exact name), thus everything is perfectly exposed.

Wish I had something better to post. ANP, your picture is superbly atmospheric. It once again shows what one can do with a D40, I'd love to see what you can do with a more expensive camera. I'm sure this has been asked before, what lens are you shooting with?

Old shot, Philly, '05. Glass blowers place.

Don't remember the specifics, but this was shot on my Canon Rebel X 35mm. This was 800 speed film, hence the grain. :\

I haven't used HDR on that pic. I've enhanced the saturation in Photoshop a little bit.

Thanks man. I was under the shade when I took this(because I forgot my polarizer); used Evaluative Metering, and somehow the dynamic range came out a bit. I've enhanced the saturation in Photoshop.

Thanks a Ton for those comment Incore and Mescalamba , you all are so great, I really appreciate it, I am still a learner. And I am having a lot of fun learning it. You both are great photographers yourself, and I enjoy pictures from you all.

    InCore
, for that shot I used the Sigma 10-20 as Mescalamba pointed out, its on my camera 90% of the time, rest of the time I use the Sigma 105mm f2.8 Macro(manual focus), and the kit lens.

I got a 3rd party vertical battery grip for my XTi for 30USD that works great so far:

and just because the rules :

    Camera: Canon PowerShot SD200
    Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
    Aperture: f/10.0
    Focal Length: 17.4 mm
    Exposure Bias: 0 EV
    Flash: Auto, Fired, Red-eye reduction

now to put it to use! (the buttons work great when vertical! )
