You are right M8...BUT only for the SINGLE VGA as for now...

Now you have ONLY 4K to go for the Aquamark3 SINGLE VGA...

i would say having a 2nd place is better than nothing, even if it's really frustrating

Thanks for the kind words from all of you.
Hopefully we have a working tripple channel kit on the next weekend.... then we will do our best to bring some other nice results

PS: We will not join this Backup-game... just upload the best score to give other benchers the chance to beat it... thats all about OC.

Amazing RAM! Now get a second kit and use the 3 best sticks out of the two sets!

    nice work guys

from my testing dual channel vs tripple channel should not be more than maybe 6 seconds though
i'm sure you were battling to make it stable there as well so with more runs we will probably see mid-20s at those clocks

    keep it up

    very impressive results guys

Great work guys! Hipro is not easy to beat though, I would have guessed he was sitting on higher scores based on his previous clock speeds. Figuring out world records sometimes goes deeper than just glancing at the top of a ranking.

Too many guys only bench for posted world records and don't push the setup as hard as it can go. Backups force us not to worry about posting scores that just beat posted world records, but more about pushing your hw as FAR as it can go PERIOD...that means there is nothing left. THAT IS WHAT OC IS ALL ABOUT. If you guys did that and George still beat you, then you gave it your best and this is for you

    Well said

Can't wait to see what you guys push out of your rig next week. Best of success in finding the right ram!

thats realy well said, so I think we need AM3 about 420k in Dual and Single VGA to beat Hirpo realy

thanks! I hope for some realy realy good scores! I think CFX benches are our way to stay in the Top5 for long

oh man yes, we hope so, but 32M with tweaks is realy a waste of LN2
you waits for 15min to do the Tweaks and then the rig crashes at first loop of 32M with the same clocks you are running before xD

5698 MHz was maximum stable 32M clock, but with "low" uncore and only CL7
    it was slower than 5670

CB between idle -145° and -155° load
CBB -115° (with X-Cool jumper) and -75° (without X-Cool jumper)
IMC CB on high Uncore -120°

so for our testing the sweetspot was arround -118°

    Good standpoint!
We always push the system as far as it can go. And we are proud of every WR... even if it stands for a few hours

    interesting
was testing yesterday and was getting CBB at -116C without X-cool jumper and could idle all the way to -132C. Have you tried Cooling mode 2. I thought that it would have similar effects to flipping the switch

    Hey Dino,

no I don't test the Cooling Modes in BIOS, but on the old CPU 965 D0 XE the BIOS Modes don't take any effect, but X-Cool jumper disables CBB fully
