Sennheiser HD555's Vs Audio Technica AD700's

The 700s are more comfortable, have better soundstage, and have tighter bass. Recommended for gaming, and for folks who like a neutral/faithful presentation. The 555s are more laid back, less comfortable, and have a warmer, bassier sound - more suitable for listening to lounge/jazz than for gaming or for general listening.

The 555s are great phones with a refreshing and unique presentation, but given the choice I'd go for the 700s.

You own both the HD555 and the AD700?

The HD555 are far more neutral or accurate.

edit: There is also a difference between having fun in a game, and winning at a game.

The lack of bass response will take away from the whole experience very much.
