Thank you for the new BETA.

Unfortunately I have some issues with it.

    1. It automatically sets the HT to 1600MHz and when I set it manually to 2000MHz then sometimes my system can't boot up (FF on post code disp.).

    2. When I try to set the NB multiplier from 10x (auto) up to 11x or 12x (etc.) the systems can't start at all, while I can simply clock it up to even 2600MHz with raising the FSB. So I think that the problem is not in my CPU.

    Please advise. Thank you.
some one cpu if 3>4 or 2>4 can;t run high HT or NB
you can UP CPU-NB & HT voltage try again

Maybe you got defect CPU, i mean unlockable but not 100% stable in windows, try lowering HT, CPU-NB or CPU multi maybe it can help. Vista 64bit is more sensitive than 32bit windows for error faulties.

toppc, yesterday prime was running fine with nb/ht@2400/2400. today with the same settings I cant even get it to post (FF), I must set nb/ht to auto to make it work.

many people are having the same issue... are you sure this is not bios related?

I've got the same FF post code error. Seems to happen when I shut down the system and then try to boot up again. I've only been able to resolve it by clearing the CMOS and then setting ACC etc in the BIOS again. Hopefully this is just a bug that will be resolved in the next BIOS revision.

Leave HT at 1600 and NB at 2000. Should fix the issue. This seems to be a new issue in 1.51 for unlocked processors. However, I'd gladly take my unlocked overclocked cores over HT overclocking

Okay, thanks. I will try to lowering HT, CPU-NB or CPU multi
Or i will try MSI DKA790GX beta bios v.184 if it works better.

yes i found too but you can try keep HT multi at x8 (2000) while you push FSB to 250. At this config isues "FF" code hang at boot is gone.

When you do your ram settings. Enable "Both" (as opposed as AUTO, DCT1 or DCT0) and set the timings X-X-X-XX for both as listed on screen.

Not sure if this is the issue you are facing. But this should let you see the configured timings correct in CPUZ.

A lot of Phenom II processors won't run DDR3-1600 speeds, although they will run lower speeds with very tight timings. It may not be the board/RAM, but rather the integrated memory controller holding you back. I can't seem to get my OCZ low voltage kit to run at 1600MHz regardless of the timings, but it'll run 1333MHz at 5-5-6-24. The only thing that may help is to give a large boost to the CPU-NB voltage.

auto settings seem to work well (if i can say that after 15 min) with the default 10x ht multiplier
