    Guys,

    Westmere to Gulftown is like Nehalem to Bloomfield, a 32nm Hexacore with HT and 12MB L3, Dual QPI link ie it will work in existing single and dual lga1366 platforms. Beckton is the Nehalem-EX, 8 cores, 16 threads, 24MB of L3, Quad-Channel IMC (presumably for FB-Dimm 2) and Quad QPI links for up to 8 socket platforms.
