cincyrob,
I just picked up that exact same batch you have
Coincidentially, I also have single sided 4x1gb crucial ballistix 800mhz. these really suck in comparison to the double sided ones I had prior to their death (they did 1GHZ @4-4-4-12 2.1v)
Coincidentially..(X2), I have the UD3P board everyone raves about
I havent popped my q9550 in yet since my UPS battery died, and I am waiting on new ones which should be in by next wednesday. Although, like you, I feel these sticks will choke down my processor and keep me from making any progress
PS: Just throwing this out there to anyone who wants a handpicked E0. I am heading down to boston tomorrow (and next tuesday) to drop off my car for service. Would anyone like me to pick up a E0 for them at the local microcenter? currently going for ~180 after tax, and I believe they are still carrying the L846B715's. PM me if youre interested![]()

All my best Q6600s have 1.2750 or 1.2625v, lets hope it will shine

I tryed FSB voltage all the way up to 1.4v from 1.1 in BIOS, tryed PLL voltage up to 1.7v, looks better, but also freezes during test.
