    251X21 i7 920 on Bloodrage - LN2

Getting nice baseclocks on the Bloodrage after doing r1ch's hard mod.

    251 baseclock X21 multi
    i7 920 C0 on LN2 coldbug in -90's
NB on DICE coldbug at -60

    PCIE frequency 115

    5.27 ghz

Benching was ho hum, though. Was getting fps in the 20's during proxy so didn't bother finishing 3D06 at 5 ghz. Couldn't wprime32 at more than 5 ghz. superpi was better, but with underclocked RAM necessary to get higher baseclocks the results were underwhelming.

Nice result! Forget the benchmarks, it's your max OC that counts.

Friend: My PSU just blew up, I think the second 8800GTX might have been too much for it to handle

Unfortunately, I didn't take any that run.

Here are some of the setup after I broke down quadfire, but before I put the 4870X2 on:

Here's a pic of the transistor after doing the hardmod (pardon the messy insulation and nailpolish I had to remove to get to it):

I had to drill a temp hole and build up the sides of the provided Bloodrage pot to prevent acetone or LN2 from splashing all over.

Great work Patch, glad to see your hard work has paid off! So impressive this on a C0 stepping as well.

Between a couple of us, we're slowly changing people's minds about the BloodRAGE, it's quite funny to look back at review's like the HardOCP one now

Hey r1ch, does this mod carry over to the GTI, and lesser models like the FB?
