Don't forget to post screen-shots of your results. I will be gone for the rest av today but i will look at them later.
Damn, you was right, i've done 2-3 test with your configuration. The vtt was too high, now i'ts 1.24v and vcore is 1.23v. OCCT is running by 15 mins

Why nobody has never talked about this vcore problem before?

PS: I'll post the screen after this test.

Here it is. (i've stopped the test manually) vtt is 1.26v

CAS 8 is stable. Gotta try CAS 7

This is the problem. Some boards have absolutely no issues and can compete at the top against any other board made. But others, and there are far too many of them, amount to nothing more then a circle-jerk for the user. In this situation the best one can do for 24/7 use is try to keep max memory speed somewhere around 1600 and lower the CPU speed until stability is repeatable. These settings don't eliminate the board issue but with less stress on the memory and CPU the problem is more easily tolerated.

Actually I'm curious if anyone swap his memory to elpida hyper and the issue is gone....

With D0 processors I can't get higher then 1900 memory speed for repeated stability. With C0s it's just about plug n' play.

Sorry if this has been asked before but due to DFI's bios naming convension (or lack of) this is difficult to search for. Just updated my LANPARTY UT X58-T3eH8 motherboard with the bios 06/19 / LX58D619.bin (not beta). After this upgrade, whenever I tell Vista to restart, press crtl + alt + del at boot or exit the bios, the whole system will power off for 4 - 5 seconds. Then the power restarts and the system boots.

I assume that this is part of the bios upgrade, but just want to check that others are seeing the same thing when using the same bios. Before the upgrade the motherboard appears to be powered even during restarts, bios changes etc. The only time I had seen this before was when changing the JMB363 controler bios setting from 'enabled' to 'disabled'.

At the moment the bios is set to all default settings and gives the same behaviour.

    Anyway, anyone else getting this?
    Spec:
    I7 965 @3.8ghz (default voltage)
    6GB OCZ Platimun @ 1333 1N 6-6-6-20 1.605v
    UT X58-T3eH8
    x2 GTX 285 @ 700 mhz
    Audigy 4
    Vista Home Premium x64

This only happens if VT is enabled in BIOS. Disable it and the board will reboot without shutting down. In my eyes it's a bad hack to make shure CPUs are locked and not a clean implementation. Hopefully it's getting fixed with another BIOS release, along with other issues like Win7 multi issue.

This is a good start. Keep the RAM on CAS8 for now. keep your RAM loose for now, you can trim/fix your RAM later.

Your MB may have the after-reboot-issue, but I don't have Enoch info. to conclude your MB is the problem. Don't give up on your MB yet, and try again .

Your screen-shot is a good start, but it would be easier to diagnose the problem if it could show more info, make a screen-shot as close as this one:

Thanks that did the trick. Might be a useful thing at somepoints though as another pain with this motherboard is when trying to install a new bios from a usb memory stick. Only after power is cut and restored to the motherboard is the usb stick detected before boot up. With the power reset at restart the USB stick is picked up each time and can be booted from.

But it is nice to know how to turn the power reset at restart off again.....

    Thanks again...

Ok i will, but SG gaves wrong voltages

However, so, what to do? check the latencies?

Guys I found that my board don't like high IOH/ICH 1.1 voltage...228 bclk prime freezed up after 7 hrs blend. If rise to 1.2v will get nearly instant freeze. Do you think clock skews is necessary in i7?........

for me with 200x21 and dram 1600 8-8-8-24 board was absulutely stable

so i would suggest for the beginning test
    200x19 1600 8-8-8-24 cpu/vtt 1.35 dram 1.65

and after that set multi to 20 or 21 and test again

    200x19 1600 8-8-8-24 cpu/vtt 1.35 dram 1.65

and after that set multi to 20 or 21 and test again
The pc is stable @3.8ghz 1.24v vtt and ram @ 1600 mhz CAS 8. I've set the cpu-tweaker latencies in the bios too, so it could not change them.

    Now gotta try CAS 7

Haha so I WAS 4.4Ghz stable but right when there is light to no load on the CPU it crashes. Works fine in Prime and WCG, etc. Even tried manually setting the voltage to stay high
