I know this thread is huge but I have a 900 but do not have a power supply with removable cables. Does anyone have any suggestions for tucking the cords away somewhere so I dont' have a mess of cables at the bottom of my case. I also don't have the space or tools for cutting holes in the MOBO plate, so there isn't much room for case modding. Anyone have any suggestions based on a stock case, I just painted the inside.
If you have one of the newest versions of the case, there is a hole just next to the power supply on the mobo plate. Try bending your cables into that hole if you can, and make them come out on the other side of the case![]()

I'll have to check on that, I got my case in January so I have no idea what version of the case it is. Is it the hole to the right of the motherboard or is it much closer to the PSU? I'll really be happy when I can get rid of the massive IDE cable for my DVD R/W and get a SATA. It's so much smaller and slicker looking.
Here you can clearly see the hole : http://img162.imageshack.us/img162/4...2902111eu0.jpg
IDE cables are always a mess :/ Sata are much more easier to use and to hide![]()

This is still one of the nicest cases of all time, one of the greatest of all time it will go down.
You still have to admit that the HAF 932 is a good competitor :/ it is more expensive, of course, but it has some real advantages !

I just looked at my case, the motherboard comes down all the way to the PSU bracket, may take a little more work than I thought to get some wires through there, hopefully there is enough clearance on my MOBO.
The best thing would still be to start drilling holes in the mother board plate, at strategic places and especially in front of the PSU (like the closest to where cables come out from the PSU). Like the one on the lower left "corner"![]()

Absolutely, but the 1200 is a little in between the 900 and the HAF 932, in the way that it has a little more fans than the 900, but those aren't as efficient as the 230mm fans in the HAF.
It's not completely a big tour either, it's in the middle, as for the 900 it's a medium one, and the HAF is a real big tour.
The 1200 is also more expensive than the HAF, which makes it a little out of competition, but i can understand people prefere design and so on.

I have always wanted to do something to my A900 to make it reflect me, but didn't have the guts until I stumbled upon this thread. Here's what I have done so far with my lil beast. To compliment the change, I ripped it's old parts out in favor of new ones. I haven't lit it up yet cause I'm wait'n on the RAM to arrive from Newegg (2day :-D). I'll post more shots in the future. By the way, first time posting on here... Greetings from the Island of Jamaica ;-).

Cable management was a pain in my case... had an excess of wires from the fan controller, temp probes, HD and HDMI Audio among others to deal with. But even tho there is still some room for improvement, I think I did a fine job compared to what it looked like before the pics below.

Well hello there x3remes !
Welcome to the xtremesystems forum !
Well, let me tell you you did an excellent job with the painting, it's perfekt, seems stock haha
Could you take a picture of the cables behind the mother board, after having removed the side panel of course?
Anyways, keep it up !

I have the original antec 900 still impressed I changed all the fans to non LED yate loons, except for the big 200mm one.
At the moment only the back exhaust one is one, with the front bottom one, not the one above it, and the 200mm one is turned off. My noctua push pull config is aimed at the top one, and im getting 50degC in full load under folding on a q9450 @ 3.2ghz![]()

x3remes - Very sharp work on the mods to the Antec 900 version2 case!
Similar to the major upgrades I made to my own: black paint for case interior and the side panels, additional cable management holes including a right-sized one just beyond the PSU.
Hey, did you change out the stock Antec tri-cool fan at the case rear for a different make & model? Looks to be either a CoolerMaster or AeroCool??
Mobo: Foxconn Bloodrage v1.0

I wish I could just drill holes in it but I don't have the space or tools to cut the metal properly. Also, my PSU's cables all come out of the side closest to the side panel. It's been a pain to deal with because they stick out so far. I need to keep working on hiding them strategically and the case is getting crowded with components, so the cables aren't very noticable anymore.
