You can get this from practically everything, ranging from drivers for all kind of hardware and hardware defects. Brings me to the question, do you have these also at stock clocks?

oh by the way, anyone tested the board using prime in ultra high bclk level but QPI Fast Link enabled? please help...I wonder if I hit a bclk wall on my board or my chip...very hard to get to 228 bclk with QPI enabled...

I have not tested any ultra high BCLK, but tried to find the highest 24/7 stable BCLK and i hope it can give some indications/help on max-BCLK. I found @4.01GHZ (211x19) 1.15v to be the sweet-spot for low-volt, and @4.2GHZ(210x20) 1.23v to be the best stable OC on my air-cooling in summer-time.

My w3520 + DFI runs rock solid with almost no tweaks up to BCLK212 with 19x, and up to BCLK210 with 20x. I haven't tested the 21x fully and won't know how stable it is, but it seams to be prime-stable up to BCLK210 with almost no tweaks (VVT:1.23v, NB Core.1.13v, the rest on stock/default).

I have also tried to Prime up to 221BCLK @4.2GHZ(19x221) too, but these will usually end up in BSOD after 10-12 minutes, and seams to need more voltages/teaks to run stable over BCLK212.

I have had several prime-stable run at @4.1GHZ(216x19), but it won't pass memtest/LinX without extended voltages/tweaks which makes it seams to be related to IMC/RAM-limitations on my setup.

I have had some fun-shots at @4.62GHZ(220x21) too, but never tied to push it further to find the ultra high BCLK (no volt-shock for my hot low-volt babe yet).

All my tests are done with QPI Fast Link enabled,
    RAM 6x
    Uncore 16x
    QPI 18x

This was the case with my i7 CO too. It wouldn't care much about VVT at lower OC, but would need 1.34v VVT to stabilize at it's max stable-OC @4GHZ(211x19) 1.34v. It wouldn't stabilize with anything else than 1.34v VVT=Vcore on it's highest OC.!

My W3520 is not so sensitive to VVT yet. It will run stable with any VVT between 1.21v to 1.28v @4GHZ and @4.2GHZ, but I guess that's because it is not at it's max-OC yet. I haven't pushed it toward @4.4-4.5GHZ yet (because of the summer heat) and I'm wondering if it would get more picky on VVT and then would like to have VVT=Vcore, too.

    ehh, bad news (for me)
it seems my xeon not sensitive to vtt also, it reboot after one hour of prime blend, either with vcore 1.37 vtt 1.22 or vcore 1.37 vtt 1.39
but with vcore 1.37 it passed prime small fft 2.5 hours
well maybe my way of overclock (small fft for vcore and blend for vtt) is not correct in general and i need even more vcore, gonna try

It is not easy to generalize, but i noticed that IMC/QPI/RAM-problems will give BSOD/error either in first minute or in 10-12 minute in PrimeBlend/OCCT/LinX. Those times I have passed these 2 "kill zones", it was just a matter av raising the Vcore a couple of notches to fix the problem.

yes i understand what you talk about, this is obvious cases with lack of voltages and i had same myself before
but now these reboots after ~1 hour blend are smth different, and worse thing that it tooks much more time to check

    Are you running @4.3GHZ 205x21 or 215x20?

I couldn't get 215x20 to run stable, yet. My CPU, IMC or QPI? seams to have problems to stabilize over 210 with 20x multi. It seams to be stable, and would do small FFT easily, but it has failed several Blend/Linx attempts @4.3GHZ(215x20). I haven't tried out everything yet, and can't be sure what's wrong, but it seams to bug my PCIe (GPU) and USB-ports too, and it gies BSOD with codes that i could track back to NB and SB-problems, but raisin VVT, IOH, ICH didn't help either.

I haven't test the stability of 21x205 yet, but it seams to run much easier.

x20 multi doesnt work with me
i think it is cpu/mem related
i can run 205x21 1.37v small fft few hours but get bsod after few minutes with 215x20 1.4v
so i just avoid x20 and stick with x21

finally i sorted blend stability, all i need is just to increase vcore by one notch
now with 1.39v i stable 2 hours in blend, temp didn't rise alot and max 75C in this rainy evening

Well I know your are trying to get really georgeous clocks with this board.
But Iwill make a break on topic with a question if you dont bother.

I have a True Copper, and as it is well know, it weight 1.9KG so I would like to know from you owner of T3eH8. Do you think that this board could be able to handle it in vertical position? (I mean motherboard in vertical position and obviously copper in horizontal position).
Previous to the DFI I got 2 Gigabyte mots, with the ULTRA DURABLE theme with I realy believe, and It didnt dissapoint me, because they could handle the copper without problems and without any kind of extra support.

Well thanks in advanca, and sorry for the off topic.
But this is important to me because in the case the board doesnt support it I will sell it and get something lighter immideately.

1,9KG sounds kind of heavy for any MB and i don't know how safe it is without support, but my Prolimatech Megahalems (790g heatsink only) + 2x120mm fans (125g each), a total of just over 1KG has been dangling there without any problem.

    You can try this:

Load optimized default (get everything at default/stock)
    Core/Multi 20x
    QPI 18x
    Uncore 16x
    RAM 8x

    BCLK 200
    Vcore: 1.28v
    VVT: 1.28v
    RAM: 8-8-8-24 1.65v

Everything else on default/stock, and see if you can pass SuperPI 1M and 32M.
Try Prime95 small FFT and if it doesn't work try to go down to BCLK195, 190 .. .

Post pictures of your results with CPU-z and CPU-tweaker screens. It would be much easier to see what's going on and some of us may have ideas to help, but every system (specially CPU-batch) is different and you have to work your way systematically trough to find the best OC for your CPU/setup.

Ok, gonna try, gimme 10 mins. However, with the uncore @ 12x it works at 3.8ghz too (200x19)

PS: Vcore 1.28v in full, isn't it?

Choose Vcore=VVT=1.28v at load, just to test for now. You may try different Vcore too (acording to your cooling) but try to keep VVT near Vcore at load (as discussed a few posts earlier).

Don't forget to post screen-shots of your results. I will be gone for the rest av today but i will look at them later.
