    Just some added info for you non dualie types;
    PCI-X has been around a LONG time.
    Intent was to get higher speeds than the normal 33-PCI slot so technically it can handle up to 266MB/sec if my memory is correct while the smaller one can handle up to 133mb/sec

    But is it backwards compatitable with 33-PCI ?

    You're correct Dave. PCI-X has been around almost as long as PCI and it is fully backwards compatible

    Also, it is the 32 bits PCI-X slot that can handle 266MB/sec since it runs not at 33Mhz but at 66Mhz, but the 64 bits version can handle up to 1GB/sec . It runs at 66Mhz (532 MB/sec) and 133Mhz (1064MB/sec).

    It does, if you push the 4 pin in the middle of the 8pin connector. Square peg round hole deal but it does work.... Maybe not recommended but seeing as each CPU only pulls <30W anyway...

    I've broken all the rules when I put my sammy pair together

    75 bucks for CPUs AND board? Nice.

    Can't view the thread since I'm not a member. Just as well, I don't need to spend more money right now

    So I truly believe the Sossaman is a nice golden gem-but from my recent ebay alert there is someone out there who feel's these are utterly spectacular. So here is a set of SL9HN and another set of the SL8WT. The listing for these is Buy it now $499.00- guess it is good to start high right

    1.66 and 2.0Ghz chips are common, 2.13 is rare, 2.33 is close to non-existant. Clock for clock they're comparable to a Q6600.

    My q6600 is at stock (OMG *GASP*) atm anyways due to heat. and this msi board being very picky.

    (eh I'll be getting it back up to speed when i decide to put my 780i back in)

    Sammy got moved to a new case today, and I must say this old Chieftech Dragon I got brand new from a friend for a few bucks fits like it was made for Sammy. I don't think you can find a smaller, cheaper case for it.. plus it's very lightweight

    Uhm yeah, it's pretty tight

    Crap foto but it looks really neat, white case with blue LEDs

    yep I have the same case (Antec version) and it fits perfect.

    btw I was walking by sossa2 yesterday and said, "hmm let me check the temps." 25c on 1 cpu and 98c on cpu 2. (WCG 90%) So it's safe to say I freaked out and noticed a power supply cable in the fan.

    Rebooted and all it fine. try that on any other cpu.
