I just tried 1.5B1 with a 550 and my lock up issues are gone! Ran a 5 pass run of IBT at max and a few minutes of P95 blend just as a quick test. No insta-freeze, so now it's off to try my 720.
Thanks toppc!

Awesome! I'll throw this on my GD70 tonight. So am I correct in assuming that the fix was not implemented in the 1.4 final release?
There is no 1.4 final yet. They may just skip 1.4 and release a 1.5

Toppc
Thank you for the new BETA.
Unfortunately I have some issues with it.
1. It automatically sets the HT to 1600MHz and when I set it manually to 2000MHz then sometimes my system can't boot up (FF on post code disp.).
2. When I try to set the NB multiplier from 10x (auto) up to 11x or 12x (etc.) the systems can't start at all, while I can simply clock it up to even 2600MHz with raising the FSB. So I think that the problem is not in my CPU.
Please advise. Thank you.
