    T3 fitting test

I tested a bunch of the fittings I have lying around to see what would fit. Of all I found only two that would not. One is the Koolance 90 degree rotary and the other was a 3/8 BPST fitting for a TC rad LOL. I tried to get it in though.
    The roundup:

    Koolance fittings:

    BP/DD fittings:

    DD fittings:

Others (think one is an EK but not sure):

Wow DB, that's a big fat selection of fittings. Awesome that you took the time too. Thanks.

dont have pics but can say that bp 90's with the barb attached work as well, along with bp 7/16'' and 3/8'' comps

i own like $200 in bp compression fittings bling and for my current build i am using none of it...

dam you boxgods and primochill, dam you...

I think you might want to re-check this Beavis.

I have just tried Bitspower True Silver 7/16in. Compression Fittings for 5/8in. OD Tubing and although they do screw into the T3 the rubber O ring isn't making contact with the actual res as the T3 has quite a large recess and the metal barb makes contact with the res before the O ring has a chance to be compressed.

Their own PrimoChill Ghost Compression Fitting™ have a 1.3mm collar as you can see by the red arrow where as the BP doesn't which allows the O ring to sit much further into the T3.

Don't know if i have a different T3 here but i'm not getting a seal with BP fittings and liquid is scooting out

Interesting. I guess we will have to use matching fittings? Thanks bud!
