My GD70 started without an issue on the retail 1.0 BIOS release. It identified it as "AMD Processor Model Unknown" but worked perfectly fine. Flashing to a more recent revision corrects that.

I'm running this OCZ kit, which is playing very well with the 550 and GD70: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227381 . I'm only using two of the three sticks though.
