You cannot see the chips without voiding your warranty.

People, I have a question over here. The Flexx series have Elpida Hyper? Because it dont seem that they have but, if Blade series and Reaper series have, now Im in doubt of that.

I think that the 1866 reapers are hit and miss. Some have D9 and others have Hyper. I have had both sets with D9 and Hypers. I think that the ones with black PCB have Micron where the green PCB will be Hyper.

Pretty much guaranteed to be Elpidas anyways.. I'm almost 100 percent sure my reapers are. I dont care, as long as they dont die on me, and if they do, OCZ will be quick to my rescue as always..

A-data 2133X are elpida hyper based, not sure about the recent batches as not many folks have access to purchasing 2133X

If its elpida hyper based modules they will most likely degrade/die the same way as any other manufacturer...

I'm very lucky, corsair sent a set of GT C8s during the time when elpidas are always out of stock, great sticks not the top binned c7 but who cares right? those sticks doesnt seem to wanna die , anyone got the sticks during that famine period, should be durable ones?

even though i still use micron d9gtrs every now and then :P

Shamino & Chispy - what does the code on your sticks say? This tells you what week/year batch they are. Seems ones made in late 08 and early 09 my be more resilient, for Corsair sticks anyway.

Code will say for eg: 0847XXXX = week 47 2008

    my 2nd stick been running well for 3 months 24/7 at 2k 7-7-7-20 1n 1.6v

already burned more than 100 hours of prime blend and 20-30 hours of linx.

i do test it once in a while.

never offed the comp .. only left it in sleep mode. usually if any errors on it will have sleep mode wake up issue.

first sticks no prob actually other than it not being able to run at rated voltage.
