Got stable 4.3ghz 1.32v no HT with air.
Seems like this chip really likes less heat, since it takes 1.28v to get 4ghz HT stable, 1.3v to get 4.2ghz no HT and 4.3ghz 1.32v...
4ghz gets to like 88-90c and 4.3ghz actually only hitting 78c so far

it starts getting unstable once it gets above 80c but its crazy it runs about 35-40c cooler at same speed and volts just turning HT off
But yes it primed for awhile at 1.36v 4.4ghz
Hi guys,
I see many people are having trouble with OCZ sticks on this motherboard, i havent got any luck with them either
I'm currently on my 2nd OCZ3G1600LV3GK kit now, first one RMA because it didn't want to run @1600MHz whatever i did with it. 2nd kit is better, wil run 1600MHz but after one day of running the pc it will error out or crash
Finaly i ordered the sexy Corsair Dominator GT's 2000MHz 8-8-8-24 but then lighting struck, Corsair pulls Dominator GT's from the market because off problems with the Elpida Hyper chips.
I think that the ramgods don't like me
Just ordered Corsair TR3X6G1866C9DF, hope i have more luck with these sticks![]()

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro AsusSaaya yupp, I agree

Good oneI've seen my rig pass linx and even prime blend ( for a few hours) yet cap out (rebooting or locking up) in hyperpi 32Mb 8 threads.

Mine will only do 1530mhz with default timings and voltage...
Somebody has problems with C1E set to AUTO?
Is that Corsair Dominator GT 8-8-8-24 2000Mhz kit one of the dodgy ones? I just bought that kit about a week and a half ago. I'm still waiting for other parts to arrive though so I haven't been able to try it out yet though.
I am going to use it with a DFI T3EH8 and a W3520. So what happens if the RAM stuffs up?
Hoping mine will do that to
This is for all off the Dominator GT's, every kit that is still on the shelf has to be send back to Corsair and will be replaced. Not every kit will have problems but they take no chanches.
If you're kit dies than you will have to RMA it and you will get a new kit![]()

Well, the saga ended unhappily. Was net browsing yesterday when my rig locked up, and seconds later the smell of burning electronics filled the room. Yanked the power cord, opened the case, streams of grey smoke filling the case. Pulled everything out, unplugged everything, attached to another PSU and tried booting with one stick of RAM and old S3 Virge PCI backup card, streams of grey smoke poured from the cap near the EPS 8-pin connector and the board displayed random garbage on the LED debugger (not whole letters or numbers, just fragments lighting up).
Now to see how long warranty takes, seeing as the board was bought from Newegg in the USA earlier this year, and I'm now back in Australia again.
