Sadly, I have cold boot problems with a P5Q Deluxe and a pair of Ballistix Tracer 800 (2x1GB, 16FD3)
It doesnt matter which of the settings do I change in the BIOS, or the color of the slots that I use, it just dont post after a couple of hours turned off. Everytime that this happens, I need to put a pair of Patriot 2x512 667, enter the OS, shutdown and put the ballistix for them to work. With the Patriot AND the Ballistix the system will post, but just to bring me a BSOD in the first boot, after that the system is rock solid (2 Hours of Orthos and 10 pass IBT Standard)
Try this for a change, prolly more FSB term voltage required :
