looks good on paper but if there is a door then it sucks

this should have the bays done like this even if you have some kind of fancontroller

No door - in another render that was done slot loading drives were hinted at hidden behind the new facade.

If you notice there are no Murderbox/Mod builds that use a fan controller showing in the front bays due to the faceplate making that impossible - plus they do not look good. Usually something like an Aquareo can be found hidden in the build somewhere which monitors temps and changes fan speeds appropriately.

Thanks for the comments Guys; I really appreciate them and your very kind words of support.

I was hoping to get a few new shots tonight but it’s very windy here and I’m thinking that placing the machine on the edge of the deck, 300 feet above the ground may not be the smartest idear. Perhaps if the wind dies down I can get some shots later – otherwise, I’ll try again tomorrow evening. Truth be told, the Zen Frog is very upset that he wasn't included in the final shots so in the hopes of not cursing myself, I better remedy that ASAP.

Oh, those pure|murderbox concept renders are very old and outdated. The new design is considerably different and IMHO, more dynamic. I know I brought up the pure|murderbox here but I’d like to keep this thread focused on Daniel’s murderbox if possible; cheers. There will be a worklog dedicated to pure|murderbox where all the thrills, spills, and broken drills will be well documented.

To all the Canucks out there - happy Canada Day.

gr8 job there charles can't wait for that worklog. and for the record: the colour theme for daniel's rig is just what the doctor ordered

If i'm gonna go for a murder mod case in the "very" near future I will be copying a bit from it.

A quick question : Where did you get/customize the SSD Blue frame?

    Keep up the good job

    Another great build Charles.

Your level of detail is stunning, and I'm hoping we'll be able to grab those SSD mounts one day.

Charles, I've been through your whole thread, reading everything (or quite everything).

Before coming to this thread, I thought you were making PC's for yourself, not for the others. And this "on demand" work your doing, is for me excellent. Excellent from a quality point of view, but also to share your work.

I find your ideas absolutely amazing. I just saw 3 of your rigs on MDPC. I found them beautifull, but a bit the same. I mean it's the same front-plate and top-plate, the invert-ATX, full sleeving etc. But now I "entered" a bit more in your work by seing all your pix you do while assembling the mod, I'm just over-astonished if I can say it that way (don't have the right word on the tongue right now ).

So final words, congrats for this build, you made Daniel a really really really lucky guy!! It wouldn't have been the same pleasure for him to go in the shops and assemble it himself. During these 6 months, he saw the pixs, but couldn't touch the mod. And now everyone knows what a MM is, and he is gonna see it IRL.

Keep up the great work, and waiting impatiantelly for your next Mod!

I think that the light panel can be done with some 2 0r 3mm white plexi, and 2 white cathodes. It should work well I think...
