shooting an event like that was a blast. when i was competing at GOOC in LA i would just look around and think of all the potentially incredible photos to be had of guys concentrating so hard on their rigs. the smiles and frowns, the confusion and elation. it is definitely an easy job for a photographer to shoot guys benching. i think the photos tell the stories well enough that i didn't bother to caption them. kind like a 'write your own story' gallery.

oh and Dave, i'll have my IP lawyer send over the bill for you altering the photos without written consent...i'll tell him to go easy on you though

i tried my best but yeah man, in a couple photos you look a little kicked in. not quite GOOC tired but tired none the less. i guess that is what happens when you don't sleep and bench all day long for a couple days in a row. my favorite is the little moment i caught of you and your thermos while you were benching. i think we all do it when benching but it just looks like such an intimate photo.
