At least you were very lucky to know the cpu before you bought
Actually this is my first retail cpu I bought. It was the very last one at the shop and waiting for me to be picked up
Bad thing is you do not know how good they are until you torture them under LN2
Purely it's a luck of draw, very expensive indeed

    Thank you George-san
Yes, I remember this photo very well
It was one insane bench night at the lab.

When you asked me about Tanaka-san & Suzuki-san, I thought how come you knew these quite common Japanese family names but finally realized that you were mentioning about our members @Team Japan as we normally communicated each other by nicknames

    ohhhh yeahh

Been waiting a while to see this

Got any 3x2GB kits? You'll find em a lot faster in 32M I think.

Edit- reminds me a lot of this one

About the same CPU speed, but 2 minutes faster.

HA, HA, HA.....Where the hec do you find these screenies?....

Yes I have 3 x 2GB OCZ but the ones with the 8-8-8....Though they can do ~865MHz at 6-6-6....
BUT I have lent them and I'll get them back one of these days...

P.S. CPU can bench HIGHER than this...

Dinos is right, at least that's what I got from spending time in various forums. Lots of other guys reported a major difference using 6GB kits, approximately 3-5 seconds ... 6GB completely owns 3GB it SuperPi 32M.

It's a pain in the ass I know ... I'm also aware of the fact that you love 3Ds, not 2Ds But imagine seeing that sub6m20sec on your screen
