Guys one question please.The projected temps contradict with Core Temp 0.99.5.They are 10 degrees lower.The same stands for pu.What to believe?

There have been looong discussions about this here, even Intel tried to clarify that. But the fact is, for most CPUs prior to Nehalem, nobody knows exactly what the correct value is. There are even certain models where this seems to vary from part to part and there's no way how to determine the correct value..

The thing is that occt,everest and core temp show me 10 degrees higher than HWinfo 32.

I ve got a Q6600 G0 vid 1.2125,with 1.10 vcore@2,8.

My air cooling is decent with True Black and enough fans inside the HAF 932.

According to Intel info disclosed on DTS, that CPU should have Tj,max 90 C and that's what HWiNFO32 uses.

So the rest programms are wrong.

Cause it seems logical now.

It would be totally crazy to have 10 fans with good airflow and little vcore and idling at 50 degrees celcious.

I also changed the value in Real Temp and checked my sensors and all were ok.

You might want to look at the font assumptions you have made in your coding. Check out this screenshot:



The heading font size is smaller than the list items, and some of the list items are in a smaller font too. Some are in bold (for no obvious reason) where others are not. It's very confusing and looks extremely odd, the headings should be at least the same size as the list items!

I use XP with large fonts, this may be the issue. You should check what the user's default font size setting is before assuming that everyone uses the same size as you. It's actually a pretty common coding mistake.

I'd think most people would consider the headings/sub-headings important. It's a complete reversal of standard information design to have the sublistings larger than headings and it doesn't improve the readability.

Having some information in bold (that you consider more important) is perhaps reasonable, but not the font size changes. What you might consider important others might consider unimportant and vice versa. If you've hard-coded "unimportant" information to a smaller display size then you aren't really considering all users.

It's an interesting design idea, but I think you'll find that as a default more people will find it annoying and visually distracting than helpful.
