    ^^^ I was wondering about that too after seeing the results from the X2 550's...

    I've yet to see a 955 with a week code later than 0919, while most of the 550's are in the 092x range. You would think the 955's have to binned higher than the X2's....

    I am going to order some thermal paste so I can put this under my water setup. Any ides of what to get? I don't like the heat the stock cooler is showing and would like to get it off ASAP .

    I just did some stock volts stable test first. I am running 3.8 1.45v now. I will do 4ghz next.

    i think, x4 965 is a bit better for OC, x4 955 ended ussually between 3.7-3.85 Ghz and x4 965 think up to 3.9 GHz (with AIR)

    wel, you should look at lower end(3.7ghz). for 965 it would be 3.9ghz and that is something. and even with 50mhz it is something for the same cpu with volt bump

    3d on phase change on an average chip.......



    3d on phase after binning 10 chips..........all other chips could not break 4.4g

    I might add this chip bombed out on ln2, lack of voltage tolerance.



    3d on phase with the first 965 BE retail part I have tested......have not tested others yet, this was also on vista..........versus the above chips only on XP.
