Well.. timings/freq is adequate to Hyper's.. nothing exceptionl. But Hypers for 70 bucks? Whoa..Kinda wish to know which kit it is and more.. if 3x2GB's are same.. even if Hyper's tends to die recently, still for 70 USD?
Worth trying.

I will be staying as far away as possible, even if it is dirt cheap, from any kind of Elpida Hypers until the new 55nm fabrication process matures and until they don't die when using it in conventional 24/7 operations. They are great for benching but drop dead like flies when they are stressed for a longer periods of time(as simple as overnight Memtest). This is with just stock or a bit over stock voltages in my case(1.65-1.68).I mean spending money is one thing(I don't mind spending insane amount of money on my favourite hobby), but the worst and frustrating part is figuring out why your OC that was rock solid stable before has become very(I mean VERY) unstable suddenly. I have been there and done that so many times with so many kits with Elpida Hypers on them. The sad part is I have experienced it so much that I could tell that the RAM has degraded(by just looking at the symptoms) without even running Memtest . I only run Memtest for a confirmation and the RMA process starts..

Nice results, Mushkin's amazing. Their DDR2 RAM doesn't always clock as well as the competition, but their customer service and warranty is far and away the best in the business. You can even trade in your old modules for credit to buy new ones...that's why I'm getting the 6GB kit linked above for $75 off
I have a set of these coming todayBoard and CPU aren't coming till next week

musta been lucky with that first purchase and getting HYPER and the next two are just regular Elpida (damnit) - though they are pretty decent and I will probably sell them...
