You are clockspeed limited with PCM05. It scales to 4 cores max I believe and most of the tests are single or dual threaded. I believe PCM Vantage might be a better test for a dual-socket board but I think you'll still get stomped by a ~4GHz to 4.5GHz chip simply due to not all tests scaling to 16 threads.
I have a Vantage disk here that came with a card I bought but to run vantage means I'd have to run Vista and Vista isn't allowed in my house!
