I have the 8500 set and you should be able to hit 1200+ if your equipment plays right. What I've learned is that you need to have a really good working multiplier/divider. My first crack at this was at high cpu mhz and therefore I could only get stable at about 1175. I've reduced my cpu speed and put myself on the 2:3 divider and I'm stable now at 1190 and counting. When I get home tonight I'll play around with it some more. No reason in the world why I shouldn't be able to get over 1200 since right now my memory voltage is only at 1.84v.

    1250Mhz, 1.90V (1.90V set in bios, Everest reads 1.89V).
Gonna push it a little more.

Keep trying. I can't get 1180 stable in any form or fashion.

3:5 ratio is bugged though, so that's actually 2:3 (DDR2-1080) AFAIK...

Its a shame that it must be PL10 but great speeds nonetheless Jupiler can we get an everest bench at that speed?

    I'll post one tomorrow.

    About using LVL 10 :

I tried running with the same settings and voltages with LVL9, but got an error at the 448k test on one of the cores.
Adding some more voltage (1.92V VDimm and MCH a notch) didn't help either, so I thought that maybe changing the Performance Level might resolve it.
    And it did.

I ordered another kit today, see how that does when it arrives.

adding NB voltage allows you to lower PL generally.

1.92 on my board is borked, if you try to set 1.92 in et6 or bios it will not change the actual voltage. If you try to set 1.92 in et6 then press set again or even close then reopen et6 it will go back to 1.90. Try setting yours than check it againest everest, 1.90 gives me 1.87 actual loaded, 1.92 makes no difference, 1.94 gives me 1.89-1.90 actual loaded, basically what 1.92 should be.

Performance Level is a NB latency setting and has nothing to do with ram capabilities.

Nice results there Jupiler! I managed to finish 1M at DDR1252 with 1.92V but couldn't get it stable enough to finish Linpack though.

Playing around with Trfc helped, so did playing around with Drive strength settings but there are a lot of Drive Strength options in bios i need to figure out yet.

Some new results mostly with lower V (all from BIOS, Everest VDimm read in screens)

+ one 2,15V shot, last one, no more crazy V from me in these topic anymore, tried to reach dual channel 1100 CL4 and have

    BIOS 1,9V - 1032 CL4 - 32M passed

    BIOS 2,0V - 1057 CL4 - 32M passed

    BIOS 2,1V - 1080 CL4 - 32M passed

    BIOS 2,15V - 1100 CL4 - 1M passed

    @ Jupiter,

Try using 1,45+ Vnb , you should be able to get PL7.
