Even for betas they are releasing too fast ... not enough internal systems testing going on as there is already 6.6.28 because 6.6.27 broke cuda entirely! I have been running 6.6.20 and it is OK because I only crunch WCG and GPUGrid but the scheduler is screwed up if you run mulitple projects. Really, take a look at the release log ... how many versions in the last week alone???

avoid this version if you're also CUDA gpu crunching...
http://www.gpugrid.net/forum_thread.php?id=1128
WARNING: Due to a big bug in this version, do not upgrade to it when you're using any sort of CUDA device and are using it to crunch. Your work will get lost.
I just read Boinc version 6.4.5 is not recommended. Did not specify OS. My Linux 64 quad is running 6.4.5 and so far seems fine. Anyone know what the problems were and if it was Windows specific?
Desktop: Q6600 G0 @ 3.6 Ghz | P5E | 2x2 Gb G.Skill PC8000 | GTX 560 Ti | CM690 | TT TP 750 watt | Win 7 Pro x64 | Water Cooling
Server: i3 530 (Stock) | CM Vortex Low-Profile | Zotac H55-ITX WIFI | 2x2Gb Corsair 1333Mhz | IGP | VX450 | Server 2008 R2 x64
Yeah I looked thru this thread and seemed like it worked fine for several and no one complaining.
thanks

I am using version 6.6.31 x64 in Windows 7 Build 7201. I am having an issue when the screen saver comes on and the display turns off. It takes a while (10 ~ 60 seconds) to regain control of the desktop (one BSOD). I have checked the 'Compatability Tab' for Vista SP2, and that seemed to improve the response time. Are there plans to upgrade the software anytime soon? I have narrowed the problem down to this program when it is running.
Asus P5Q Deluxe (P5QD1406) || Q9400 at 3.4GHz || 2x2GB Mushkin Redline PC2-8000 || HIS HD 4870 1GB w/ Scythe Musashi (silent) || 501GB Samsung HD || Zalman ZM850-HP || Antec P182 || Windows 7 x64 RTM
Turn off the screen saver? The screen saver is a resource hog anyways.
I run in Win7 with absolutely zero problems.
