That is fantastic news! Nice to see Foxconn still accepting community input on the Destroyer.
The Destroyer was designed to meet AMD AM2+ specifications, and marketed as such (it says "AM2+ Support" right on the box). It should be able to support all AM2+ CPUs regardless of when they were released; Phenom II compatibility isn't a surprise at all, it's working exactly how it's supposed to work.
All of this is beside the point, because really, the biggest issue we're all dealing with has next to nothing to do with CPU compatibility. I'm speaking, of course, about the Northbridge Multiplier being broken/stuck...
Destroyer seems to overclock just fine with CPUs that have unlocked core multipliers (negating the lack of a Northbridge Multiplier adjustment). It has serious potential, but that one problem is seriously nerfing it.
Well, I think you know my number one issue for your list. I want a working Northbridge Multiplier adjustment!![]()
