Use the multi 19 and bump up the blck to 210, or use multi 20 and bump up the blck to 200, see which one works better.

I keep all my lights cut off. I liked them when i first got the board then it got annoying after a while. Only one i haven't got to turn off is the supremefx x-fi blue led.

    Good Day

Anyone else on this 1403 bios ? I seem to be able to run lower volts on the CPU then before to keep her stable... till now I needed 1.28ish set in the bios. It's still priming at 1.275 ( I urgently need back my DMM to verify the correct volts ) Maybe this bios overvolts even more than the older generation...

Anyone an idea or can anyone verify with his DMM...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

mpower1001, I don't even know how to thank you !!! I simply followed your advice and it worked - all the lights on the mobo are out (except for the blue LEDs on SupremeFX X-Fi & on the VTT card) Thank you once again

    No, i can't confirm this.

With my high accurate DMM (0.05% over the 0-2V Range) Bios 1403
overvolts in the same way as Bios 1306 or 1204. +0.02 - +0.03 Volt.

Maybe that's it, I started to use this board again and I was coming from 11series bios... I needed 1.28ish Vcore set then to get prime stability, anything lower would have freezed in minutes. Now with 1403 I can run sub 1.27ish volts. Really puzzled...

    IIRC, there's a Beta W7 Driver for Xi-Fi soundcard at Soundblaster.com.

They changed something on 1306 and up. You'll notice the splash screen takes a bit longer but not too big of a deal. 1306 is the best bios so far for me so I can live with it as I only reboot when I have to and mainly go in and out of sleep mode.

Thanks BabyFace, Yeah i did notice that the splash screen takes longer to load and it became bad to worst after a few weeks the splash screen is taking longer and longer, i have gone back to 1206 and seems to be some improvement in terms of waiting time...

Thanks for the recommendation! Enermax arrived yesterday and I'm loving it, or actually my GTX 280 is. Starts from a cold boot every time. No more restarting/blank screens... now only the time will tell how long it will last - i do have high hopes though And now that I'm sure it was the PSU that failed i can get a replacement for future use.. and perhaps a D0 which is like an itch lately

Where's my share? HHehee...glad it works great for ya. It'll last a long time, but Enermax doesn't provide lifetime warranty on their PSUs, which is one of the reasons why I went with Prudent Way instead. They provide lifetime warranty on their PSUs, which is the first.

I using everest to read my NB/SB temps, it is reporting 48/46c my ambient temp is around 28c.
I did replace the ASUS TIM with some OCZ freeze and Sekisui tape.

I wondered what everyone else is getting with theirs?

    Thanks

I use 1403 as I own a Xeon cpu and for me it is very similar to 1306, but I never tested so deeply.
