I hate you UPS. Out of all the times I have had things delivered to my current place, this time they decide to take it to the office, which when I got home today, was closed.

Sorry to hear that. It's so funny that it happen to me also with my LV Blade. UPS driver decided out of all the package he received that day he had to pick mine to misroute. Normally I would get delivery to my place before noon pretty much all the time. Got off work at 5pm and still no package, online tracking still showing "out for delivery", called them at 7 ish and they say driver is still out delivering and could be up til 8pm before I might see this package. Okay fine, track it with ups.com @ 7:45pm and now it saying package is misrouted to a different address, I'm like what the F*** call them back and complained about my situation and this time they told me the station have been closed and at this point there's nothing they can do but to retrieve it back and attempt to deliver it the next day.

Seriously for me that stuff only happen when I deal with UPS no other carrier. I swear I will not use UPS again in the near future. Sorry for the long story thought you might want to hear this so you won't feel left out. Good luck with your package.

Has anyone tested the Blades in adjoining DIMM slots?

I really want to know, as i'd be getting 8 GB if i can ever actually buy these in Canada.

I'd prefer to get the better-cooled Blades, but if there will be issues with 4 DIMMs fitting, i'm fine with getting the Platinums.

    Anyone?

I'm not asking to test 8 GB...just wondering if you can physically fit them side by side & in what mobo...

nForce isn't able to push those sticks (PC2-9600) so high as X48, but I'm still taking them higher. At this moment I have 625MHz CL5 @ 1.9V... and want more

Well damn. Absolutely sure the Platinum is the same thing, just with a different heatspreader?

I might have to get some of these to see how the E8400 deals with it in the DFI. I've had the E8400 up to 4.6 Ghz on air...1.35v on an i45. Let's get some DFI action going on.

Might be a good idea to cancel the craigslist ad i put up for this E8400 :x

I'm actually happy that OCZ isn't charging an arm and two legs for the higher binned memory. GSKill should take notice.

These were the first batch available in the U.S.
    Purchased from Amazon on 5/14.

This looks to be about it. Of course, as I said above, I'm still trying to figure out all the stuff on my new mobo. These sticks won't boot over 900 at cas4 either.

Yea but im guessing those are just used to cover up whats behind, I dont think they would openly have the ICs visible.

What everyone has been waiting for:

    They are Elpida
    numbers on IC say
    E1108ACBG
    -1EH-E
    090809K4Q1C

The thermal tape is very tacky and I ripped of 3 ICs. Oh well...this was for you guys.
    Enjoy

BTW -n7- I put both sticks in slots 1 and 2 and they fit snug. I am on a Gigabyte EP45-UD3R board though. 8gigs should be fine

Well I'm sure it was Tony's idea to put the tack on there. What a right POS you have become Tony. Oh nice to see your forums were doing so well everyone is just waiting for you to crap on them. Man all those years of hacking BIOS screwed your head up. Finally, you have made it corporate right before the crash thats gonna last 5 years and you will be laidoff or your small oc business will crash and I hope it does. Good riddance trash.
