the hx was clean'd and washed out with water then baked in the oven @200c for 40mins mmm tasty

so the 2nd stage is almost built but i have run out of silver solder with 6 joints left to do it will have to wait till later on today to get it finished
fitted the hot gas bypass and the suction line i have 2 1l tanks to fit also but i need to make a bracket for them and then the elecs

on 1st tests i did 50W 100W i tryd for 160W but the heat loader exploded and knocked the power off in the batcave





i then fixed the heat loader with overbrade and silicon


i then try,d for 160w

will do some more tomorrow i think the cap tube is a bit to long by about 3-4inch's

lol I wasn't, just I don't know any CPU that dissipates 160w at an appreciable speed His temps are awesome, especially that -120C

hey well im building up to that
the last rendition of evocade held 200w @-92c (cpu terms i7 965 1.6v 5.1ghz) i think my heat loader is a bit big normally if its set to 160w it will cool a cpu of 200w
i did try 200w last night but found that after 20mins the temp started rising it held -99c @200w for tho's 20mins the started to get warmer

i need to cut some out of the cap tube and add more 507 to the 1st stage but only got one set of gages atm the other set is on widow maker cascade (under pressure test)

will get on to it later today

I have kept my -30c SS insulation on my mobo when benching with dice and even with ln2 for hours at a time with NO ice or condensation whatsoever. I insulated no further than you have, but having fans all around the socket keeps things nice and dry

ive tryd fans makes no diffrence i think its the metal plate on the back of the socket
