    Awesome overclocking

The reason you can't post this in the Xtreme Overclocking section is because you don't have 100 posts. A mod or admin will probably move it there soon.

    i tought e6300 was 1,8ghz stock and 65nm.
Or does cpu-z have a bug?
    For that isnt a e6300.

This chip probably runs at 266*10.5 stock (= ~2.8Ghz as seen specification line of the validation), and is an R0. Looks to be a "mislabeled" E7400 to me. Certainly no E6300 at least. Hopefully, gianni will move it

in case you guys didn't know, intel is retarded and recycled the e6300 name. this version is the 45nm e6300, which just launched like a week or two ago and is already on shelves of many etailers

    congrats on WR alom

I thought about the cache when i was on the train Couldn't have been the damn E7400.

But... why not call it E5150 or something, where the 50 is for the higher FSB (like the 266 vs 333 FSB conroes)?

And people whine about naming the new Phenoms PII? Perhaps Intel made so many different CPUs they ran out of numbers...
