Just so everyone knows, it comes with a plug to plug off one pump if you're only using one pump.

This should be sweet for dual loops/dual pumps!

That is pretty damn sweet. I like this very much and also love the fact the face plate is removable for customization. Simply awesome!

Man - I have waited almost a YEAR for the freaking Typhoon III res with D5 attachment. I will buy this ASAP if they can beat PrimoChill to the market.
    /start rant
I've just about all but given up on the Typhoon after freaking trying to pre-order 2 of them that know one will commit to, and being told shipping in 2 weeks, ask again 2 weeks, ask again oh ok now it's really 2 weeks, ask again - wait wait packing is happening they'll go out in 2 weeks. And consumers dont want to hear " oh a select few has them in hand now " (That's crap = escpecially after trying to pay premium for a flipping pre-order just to be denied because their shipping in...... you guessed it, 2 weeks.)
Now that that's off my chest.
    /end rant

I couldn't be happier with XSPC rushing and beating them to the market. And as far as XSPC QC (quality) goes...... I've never had a problem returning and replacing anything with them. Just buy from a reputable vendor.

Thanks for the POST - and sorry for the rant..... just wanted the FREAKING TYPHOON for so long that it F'ing pisses me off... (insert bannanaas there) sigh........................

I wonder if they will make a version where the two halves are separated, so you could run different coolant through each loop.

Looks sweet and a little bit of rubber damping on the side mounts too. The removable face plate is a nice touch.

I bet it will be every bit of the same performance as their res tops.... the more I look at it - it looks to have the same "style" of feed (tube) with about .50" or little less from the inlet gap and all. So no unobstructed inlet and easy bleeding.

If they throw a divider in there for 2 loops! How awesome that would be! But just being able to have the redundancy of 2 pumps is great too!

You must be half Klingon with all that emotion. Don't your panties in too much of a twist: Geno mounted mine to a custom size panel for one of my rigs and has not shipped it to me yet. I think only Bod actually has some in hand.

Got some other news to tick you off: Duke Nukem Forever will not be out next week.

This redundancy would only work if the pumps were in parallell - ie. using a Y line. Why anybody would do parallell for redundancy (or at all) is sort of a misnomer today.

This looks more specifically for dual loop setups. I wonder if the water equalises in temperature more as a single loop with two rads because the water is essentially "shared".

Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. This is the problem with this reservoir. It is not setup for dual loops. Even if it did have a divider, the two water temps would equalize through heat transfer and void the purpose of dual loops.

I say this is not a good top. No good for series, no good for dual loops.

You can run them in parallel! Or series, if you want. This top would make the difference between parallel and series really easy to test. Be really interesting to see.

Had them for weeks, just has to wait for the go ahead from XSPC to release them... I heard Duke Nukem will be released as shareware.

omg this would make it so much easier for me to do dual loops, i already have both blocks, both radiators, and this reservoir for 2 x mcp355's. won't need any tops. for the DDC pumps which saves me about $20, and no need for another reservoir, which saves me another $20. great!

where can i buy? and how much???

Precisely my thoughts. Serial with this is pointless. Parallel or dual loops sharing the same res are the best(?) options.

can you please take a look at my picture of my loop in my signature? do you think that i'd be better off running dual loops or dual mcp355's in a series if i were to get a 2nd MCP355?

if all the water were to be mixed from the dual loops in the reservoir, wouldn't temps reach equilibrium eventually?
