I'm reading some old posts on this thread and found out that lowdog has the same problem as I am!

I've used 3 different PSU's by 3 different manufacturers (not just brands, manufacturers) and all three worked flawlessly. I'd lean towards TT being the issue.

The TT 1200w I have worked perfectly on 3 systems:

an X38 baseed system
a P35 system
and a 965 system

without any problems, now you couple it with a gigabyte x58 and the mobo sometimes won't boot!

I think it is a gigabyte problem.

asked for advice right? its not unheard of to have compatibility issues
