NO, depends on motherboard if P states work correctly, I never use CnQ.

I tried battery removal thingy too - no joy.

I sent a mail to Gigabyte, but no answer yet.

Is there any one else here with a GA-MA790FX-UD5P motherboard using the F3 BIOS downloadable from the Gigabyte website?

Chew, are you sure it's the BIOS fault? If so, I'll patiently wait for a new BIOS, but if not, I'll just send the motherboard back for replacement...

woow my 955 BE is coming on Friday together with the DFI 790 M3H5, 4 gb of micron-based OCZ DDR 3 ram, Heatkiller 3.0 AM3 and a special anfitec block for the DFI heatpipe

i'm more excited about this rig than i was about the xeon w3520 + gigabyte EX58 + 6gb patriot biper ram, back to AMD, DFI, water AND OCZ after 2 boring years of intel/asus/gigabyte/corsair and air coolers

can't wait to put this stuff under water push it really hard and tweak it for the next 2 weeks!

but how good do these chips scale under water? voltages don't matter as long as they don't kill the chip within a year
