[OCTH] back to E8600, almost sub 7 sec SPi 1M and so on

    hi guys,
after some i7 testing i was benching last weekend and today again with RE+8600 combo on ln2 this is my best chip so far, so im really happy with

    Core2Duo E8600 @ 2.04v (Q828A282)
    k|ngp|n F1EE @ -140C
Asus Rampage Extreme (0121, 0601 bios)
2*1GB OCZ Platinum PC12800 (old GTRs)
    XFX GTX 295 2GB
    Asus EAH4890 1GB
    CSX SLC SSD 32GB
    Silverstone DA1200

    Max CPUZ validation

    Global Rank 28th SPi 1M

    and some 3d results...

but i think something is wrong with this scores, especially with 01, and AM3 is bugged low as well, got 323k at these clocks :S
i have to figure out its card or driver / os problem, but with 4890 its all fine, i managed to get first place on hwbot with single (1x) 4890 in 01, 03, 05

    here is the 01 result:

    regards,
    bala

Nice results there. I'm pretty sure that you can do 6.99s to 7.015s at 6443.2GHz; drop me a pm if you wanna give my modded BIOS a try mate. Dunno, but maybe it could help a bit.
    Best Regards,

i re-checked my E8600 for better 01 score with 295 like last time, it seems the new mobo solved the nature issue... but sadly last week my psu died and could use only an asus 750w for this bench session wich seemd not enough for powering 6.3G+ cpu speed, but still much better score like last time so i can put my C2D combo on hold for a while and keep benching on i7

highest score without screenshot, only ORB: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9494286

Nice benches. These 4890's sure go high on air.
