Offcourse it should work, when you don't need the horsepower it should clock back (this works) but because it fails to lower the voltage the fans have to be on higher then necessary

Can you imagine your high end gpu doing this?

no it should work, that's why we buy these highend boards

and I can't flash my bios back, it crashes ... sucks

does Eist work with the extreme bios over 140 blck?

Point taken. I've honestly never used it. It's the first thing I disable and have since the E6600. That is the 10000th thing that I would look for in a $450 board. And honestly, I wouldn't care if my GPU's didn't downclock either. It pisses me off actually, and I am positive it affects benchmarking.

There are a few dudes here toting that they have low voltage/high overclocks. The need for power saving options just seems ridiculous looking at this forum and the bigger picture of overclocking.
