Hey Shaz, how hard is it to program that little LCD screen? It is so awesome! I'd love to have one which also tells me my core temps and vcore etc.Handy as.

Shazza, I am going to put my white cathode or LED lighting behind the motherboard in between the tray. I changed the blue LED's to white on my Koolance blocks and my cards are nicely lit up and look awesome!! I may also put a white cathode behind my bottom Rad. I had to delay some parts of my project since I had to pay $730 to replace the clutch in my car.....![]()

Beautiful Pics Shazza ....
Do you do any post processing work with those pics or those straight from your camera?
I didn't know I was going to use the colored coolant when I set up the tubing ... just added it because of the EK blocks and the reservoirs. I'd like to see it with plain tygon ... maybe next modification
Very kind of you to say such nice things, Charles, but does Nils know you were out of your cell? I am still just a beginner at all this, but really enjoying the process. And, about my arty photos - do you see me holding my handiwork over a balcony to potentially drop 20 stories ? ( but, I do have some of those blue gloves)
Again, thanks for the kind words.
It's not too difficult, just took a couple of hours to figure out. I do have it reading my CPU temps and more. Very handy.
That sounds interesting - looking forward to seeing pics. Sorry about your clutch!
I process the pics in Lightroom 2 - primarily to adjust white balance. Then also adjust "curves" to get the highlights/shadows right. For the tubing pics, I have to do a little adjustment to get the colors to show what they look like in real life. The Green is the most difficult - it's actually a little "greener" and less lime-like in real life, but it's a pretty good representation.
Thanks for the feedback, folks. I'm going to concentrate on using this computer for a while now - that will be a novelty!
Hi, Shazza, it looks amazing. I hope you are enjoying using it now and not reading what I'm writing!
...except it looks like you may have a slight kink in the green CPU tube; you may want to check on it. If it's kinked you can put zipties (quick and cheap) or buy a BP 45 or 2 (pretty). But who am I to advise you on fittings?!

this is amazing. Good work.![]()

shazza thx for the cathode and coolant help![]()
but does feser 1 coolant have the anti corrosive stuff ?
and you just used feser 1 coolant thats it , no extra additive and such?(let the tubing take care of the rest basically)
Shazza!!!!!! you just dont stop to amaze me with the symmetry of your tubing config and everuthing else.... very well planned..... i tip my hat !!!!
congrats !!!
Have to check in here upon return from the office - gotta see what everyone is up to with their builds
Thanks ... I know it looks like it could be kinking in that one pic (assume you are talking about my green mosfet loopy). But, if you check the photos below, you can see it is okay. I'm watching it closely though - thanks. I have BP 45s, but I really wanted to have the green standup to give a little more visual interest to the loop. Let's see after a few weeks.
Thank you, I appreciate the comments.
Thanks ... fans are Yate Loon Mediums on the front - pushing (pulling?? I never know which is which) fresh air into the case. The chipset radiator (which is the XSPC RX240) has Yate Loon Lows - pulling hot air out of the case. 2 fans on top, and CPU fan are Scythe S-Flex F's for exhaust. I'll adjust fans if need be if I notice any balance issues.
Feser One is meant to be used as a stand alone coolant. No need for water or corrosion inhibitor or algaecide - so they say.
Much appreciated - your build is still one of my favorites, and I may copy you next time![]()
then how many bottles will i need to use with a ek 150 res ?
Looks great. Did you use the Feser dye or premix?
hey shazza, you know you want a heatkiller, or aqua computer cuplex nowbut seriously, i may just have to report his build to mdpc, probably the cleanest mountain mods build i've seen. also shazza, grab that bobble head, looks like it gives +10 to whatever skill you want :O
It's not just the res that matters - also the rad. Assuming you're going with a 360 rad, it should take a bit more than half a bottle of the premixed.
Feser One Pre-mixed. (NOTE - I AM NOT recommending this ... it works fine, but there's really no need to pay the extra over distilled unless you need the color).
Thanks, noob. I've got a Koolance 350 sitting here, but not gonna tear the loop down at this point. I'm pickin' up my bobbleheads as I bobble through the Wasteland
P.S. ... don't bother reporting this to MDPC. It's not worthy, as there are many imperfections, and the outer case photography leaves much to be desiredWe have to leave something to look forward to with the next build.
Damn nice looking stuff!! I love the Bobblehead, I am still playing Fallout 3 looking for EVERYTHING!!! I think I have over 120+ hours on that game....It's like crack! I ordered my remaining stuff, more sleeving, lighting, Ram cooler, and 9 S-flex F fans today, Shazza, except either Koolance 350 or Heatkiller 3.0 block. It's between these 2 blocks now. Waiting to see Hondacity's results first!!Hopefully the Seeker will be able to get that Aquaero ordered for me with his order from Aqua-computer......

Hey Shaz, where did you get the LCD screen from? I'd love to get one![]()
I use the same program and love it ... makes adjusting the whitebalance so much easier since I have crappy yellow room lights.
Also your making me want to upgrade to some better lenses after seeing your pics, the closeups are great....
Like I mentioned before I think the AquaComputer CF faceplate would look good with your LCD...

Well...I should have looked closer at your build.
I just discovered, when I finally put my case together this weekend, that my idea of a cooling chamber on the bottom with the rest on the top isn't going to work quite the way I thought it would.
I was going to use the Opti front, and triple original sides with pa120.3s in the front and on the sides...but it turns out that it won't fit that way, which I didn't see until had it all together in front of me and and then talked to Ben at MM for awhile.
For one, the horizontal brace is in the way (which I would have seen if I would have payed more attention to your build), and for another, there isn't enough space in a standard UFO to put the fans and rad on adjacent sides without them overlapping at the corners.
Oh well...it's only money, right? heh.
Time to order a 14" brace and a new back I think, heh.

I need to quote you Shazza ... just to push you just a little bit further. Just one final shooting. It is already super-fantastic but I am missing shots where you see the full case (standing freely and being completely on the photo with some air to breathe). It would make me so happy to see it from all sides. It is already outstanding and I truly hope for these last few outside shots that I would love to see so much. I love the three colors - it is very beautiful.
