Why didn't you set it to go down to 4x multi & 0.7750v?
There's lots of watts to be shaved there.
I'm idling at 65W.
Down a whopping 100W compared to my previous system with a Q6600 which consumed ~170W in idle. That is, one hundred watts worth savings in idle just by dumping Q6600 and going Deneb.
You were not supposed to see this.

you know to be honest, i just didnt think it would go that low, without BSOD
i also like the idea of a 2 gig rig, its still powerfull enough for low level stuff, and not a too big a jump to 3.5 gig,
i also have a thing about fast voltage increases in a wide range, it can do more harm than good, i know this from my sound engineering days
