    I don't have that particular kit, I have G.Skill 3x2GB DDR3 1600 8-8-8-21-2T, but from what I have read, that mushkin is some of the best, good OC headroom and fantastic timings.

    I really haven't tried. It runs at 1600 fine though, but only at 2T...

    change log says support new cpu (likely D0); however, it says the same thing for the p6t deluxe change log and it was able to support x21. I can't seem to dial in fixed x21 on the p6t with this bios.

    You're right. I just updated to 0403 bios and 21x fixed multiplier doesn't work.

    I'm currently doing a 20 LinX pass at these settings:

    i7 920 Batch #3836B
    Multi = 21x
    BCLK = 191
    vCore(Bios) = 1.42
    vCore(Idle) = 1.15 (Clocks down)
    vCore(Load) = 1.416 - 1.424
    QPI = 1.35
    IOH = Auto
    ICH = Auto
    DRAM = Auto

    Max memory and Max problem size LinX gives me a top temp of 87c on the first core. Is this to high?

    It seems my chip won't accept a 19x multi, and even then it's very unstable and crashes when i launch Prime95.

    This is my first OC ever, anyone got any tips?

    Cheers.

    It did great on the 9550. Load temps in the 60's idle 30's until the 295 was installed. Anyway probably going back to water.

    I don't understand I was p95 stable @3.8 w/1.24v with bios 1102 update to 1303 for 21x multi, found that didn't work for me was not stable..... even p95 would fail at my oc of 3.8 w/1.24v so I reverted back to 1102 and now suddenly that is not stable with my old settings even tried 1206 with no avail WTF. Any ideas on why or what's going on? Chip degradation already........

    I thought mine was degrading until I found out it was heat preventing me from using previously working settings.

    does those settings applie to me to ToMeGuN?

    I'm new to oc'ing and I have a P6T Deluxe.

    btw I was wondering since the 1303 bios you can go up to 21 with your cpu ratio.

    Now intel said the 920 and 940 where locked to a bigger value but unlocked to a lower value.

    Setting the cpu to 21 won't this permanently damage the cpu?

    And by doing this the turbo feature doesn't work anymore right?

    I don't think you permanently damage the cpu and intel said that reduced the limit to the multiplaier of the rams not the cpu
