    i love this mobo.
    its just so easy.
ut already sold out in malaysia in the first 2-3 days.

dfi has definitely made a comeback with this one.
eva yup i think ure right but weird right
for vdimm examaple bclk 201 ram 1004 7-8-7-20 1T will pass memtesthci this time did up to 2000% percent thats 10 hours on bench rig,
heck was gaming with it for hours np
memtest86+ did 8 passes on vdim 1.638 dmm, bios read 1.64, set 1.665. but will fail prime and linx. down it to 200 bclk ram 1000mhz 7-8-7-20 2T passes everything..
tested on all the feb bioses.

still think its a subtiming issue or the rank issue.
the r2e had a option for 1N issue.. forgot what is called but tweaking it made the difference

hmm rusty before u clock try this ok
this is the best way to clock i7's x58 mobos with superstable settings. its just so damn easy.
u need to eliminate each voltages first before u go to find the next.

first find the vcore. try this reasoning first
    Vcore
ure base uncore is 2400 and with vtt 1.2v. then look at ure dram most of the dram ic's are rated 1333mhz etc
so y not try a low multi with ht on/off say 18, dram 1200mhz bclk 200, uncore 2400, vtt set 1.23, dram set 1.53, dram timing 9-9-9-24 2T tRFC 88 ( depending on ure ram or go 10-10-10-24 2T,) set a vcore and run linx or ibt full mem stress.. make sure u use up atleast 95% of ure mem available. for 3gb try 2.5gb(10-20rounds) stress and 6gb around 5.2gb stress ( 5-10rounds).
take note i7 voltage is very heat dependent so the better ure cooling the lower ure voltages.. dont ak me why.
example i can pass 3 rounds of at 4.2ghz ht 0ff at 1.32v but to pass 10 i need around 1.37v..
u can lower this later once u have found ure vtt, dram voltages.

    VTT
ok say once u found ure vcore example 3.8ghz bclk 200 . so say example for most ppl out there using ram at dram 1600mhz CL8.
up ure dram to 1600, uncore 3200, set ure dram at relax timings first example 9-9-9-24 2T tRFC 88. vdimm at 1.65v, vtt 1.36, ioh/ich 1.15
this time run memtest hci. for 3gb say around 2000% around 2 hours and 6gb around 300 % around 2 hours.try to stress the cores and ram wit this if ure runing with ht so run 8xmemtest hci with equal amount so ure mem usage atleast 95%. very easy to find the vtt.
reboot issue, hang, just up ure vtt. errors are usually vdimm and timings. ioh voltage sometimes errors and also u can see ure usb devices acting weird.

    VDIMM and Memtimings
CHange ure vdimm to either set 1.65/1.665v with the rated timings.
FOr me currently running prime95 25.9 64bit blend. IF u can pass the first group of 15 mins.. ure good to go. Errors in the this first group of test the 1024kb is vdimm, mem timings related. bsod/hang.. 1n/2n and vtt related.
double check with memtest hci and memtest + to be sure.

try this way rusty cause showing a template.. everybody has to guess on what u have a confirmed voltage and etc etc and guess whats not stable.

    hope this helps.
doing it this way u eliminate each voltages
and also u will know which voltage is insufficient for the problem that occurs etc.

after than if linx is not the vcore that u want.. hey try others like prime etc and lower the voltages to what is acceptable and stable for u.

btw cpu setting disable everything except executable bits.. ht on/off up to u. ppm disabled also.

when ure done with the above run linx/ibt again.. take note because of the increase in vtt .. ure proc temps and system temps will go up
