I know absolutely nothing about photography but I'd some day like to buy an SLR. For now, my Fujifilm S6500fd will do. View from my apartment's window, messed around waaaayyy too much with paint.net on the second one. I sadly don't even have a tripod and these are quite cropped so the resolution and detail is horrible.

The brush on the bottom left gives you some sort of depth to the picture, and makes it look like the brush to the waterfall is only max of 50 feet away. But when you zoom to the top left, you can make out a railing and people walking showing much much more than the estimated 50 feet.

hehe yeah at first glance from the pic the falls don't look that big in the picture, I took it from the top of the sheer part of the Canadian side, the distance is more like 500 feet if not more.

Ok so here is a picture from my mothers birthplace (a small little village called Kardamyla on the island of Chios, Greece) The photo was taken with a CELLPHONE! so i dont have any settings, i just know it was a Nokia N93.
