    as this is the most active post for the bloodrage , i thought i try to post my bizzare mem problem here ik the hope to find a answer.
    I have some experience with overclocking a core 2 duo and so ... but i7 is
    something new for me and trying to get the picture
    I'v read the most of the posts here and now there are some bios related mem problems, but wat ik encounter is somthing verry strange ( i think?) lol.
    Whel let me explain my problem first.
    It seems my memory (corsair dominator 1886MHz cl 9-9-9-24) only gos higher when i hit my bclk ip ? you say "dude thas normal?" I know but wy run my mem @ 1444MHz when ik set Bclk to 180 x 20 = 3600 an mem multi @ 10x,
    It shouldn't hit 1600MHz wright? it always set the mem linked to my (fsb)speeds , no mether what mem multiplayer i use ? It only gos up when i higher my fsb !!
    i try to explain wit pics ;-)

    These are the settings i use
    You need to set the UnCore multiplier to 2x ( or higher... if you can ) the Memory Multiplier.
    To run 10x Memory BUS Multiplier you need to set the UnCore Multiplier to 20x.
    Also, which BIOS version are you using ? Nevermind about that. I saw it on the third screen that took a bit to load.
    Try what I told you above, and if it doesn't work, try the same with the G13 BIOS.

    Viper, what voltages did that require and what are your temps if you don't mind?

    Run some loops ( 20 ) of test #5 with memtest86+ v2.11 ( memtest.org ).
    Make sure you disable the "USB Storage Function" in the Integrated Devices -> USB menu in the BIOS.

    If it finds any errors, then you have to "tweak" your memory timings and/or voltage to stabilize it.

    Alwright now we are talking last night i was in the mood for valetine.... Euh overclocking i mean lol
    and i was able to get these settings to run superpi stable:

    Bclk = 200
    uncore multi X20
    mem multi X10
    V-core = 1.4V
    mem = 1.7V
    Qpi/Vtt = +260mv == 1.4V
    PLL == d'hont know if i should mess wit that ?
    and should i increase de SB volts ?

    everything was running fine unthil i was experimenting with the CPU settings PMM, EIST, CxE ???
    now it cant get pass the memtest POST on bootup?
    I will try the G13 again
    Also still trying to get the X21 multi to work @ 100% to ??

    nice... normally they charge extra for sat delivery. Really cant decide what CPU im gonna get. I have the cash for a 965, but cant decide whether to get it or not. A 920 is a more sensible option... just would have to hope for a good batch!

    I would go with the 920. With a bit of luck you´ll get a good batch and it will fly on your bloodrage :P Even with a bad 920 you´ll probably be able to hit 4ghz under WC.

    geez, how many threads did you post this in?
    again, its not a bug, other board makers automatically change the tdp and tdc settings to a certain value, we have an option where you can actually chose any value you want for tdp or tdc

    just set it to 1200 for tdp and tdc and it should be fine
    (1 step is 1/8A or 1/8W)

    dave i'd suggest G19

    http://www.benchzone.com/Downloads/B...onn/BloodRage/

    I have been using it for a week or so but was told not to post it, Bill has obviously been given the ok

    No need to push Uncore/VTT unless you're going for high DDR3. +180mv took me to 220bclk. All i'd say it watch the vcore load. Enjoy.
