    Ehup folks

Im the lucky dude who has that pa140.3

Ok you heard it from me first, I can confirm that there will be a PA120.4 I have seen it and held it in my sweaty hands. In addition I can also confirm there will be a RE-VITALISED 120.3! That is A 120.3 QUAD PASS (this also I have had in my hands) however there is alot of work has to be done on this.

Can I just give a big thanks to www.over-clock whom own thermochill, and a big shout out to my two friends Sue and Steve (owners of thermochill) you are really good friends, its an honour.

Any chance of getting the dimensions on the 140.3? Wondering if I'm going to need a new case or not...

140.3 I think would fit in the top of my case... width-wise it would at least, not sure about length.

Hmm, that is huge. I would prefer a 140.2 myself. Then again, I am not planning any water cooling in the near future so I could be lucky when I am.

Score!!! Ok, but will the 120.4 use the same flow layout as the revitalized 120.3? And with quad pass... would that not cause a lot of pressure drop?

Also... what has more dissipating area? 120.4 or 140.3?

These "revitalized 120.3", sound like a very bad idea to me. Expect these models to have a considerable rise in pressure drop, unless they're packing more tubes into the same sized framework, which I don't see happening.

Judging from the pics posted and TC's PDF of the 120.3, I'm going to go out on a limb and say roughly 470-472mm L x 146mm W. Thickness is probably close to the 120.x PA's.

I should also point out that I believe my prior post was incorrect about fan spacing. I've had time to analyze the pics and it does look like TC listened to all the whingers out there and went with 15mm spacing. Thankfully, it looks like they kept the G3/8" bungs.

Judging from the pics posted and TC's PDF of the 120.3, I'm going to go out on a limb and say roughly 470-472mm L x 146mm W. Thickness is probably close to the 102.x PA's.

...and that's a first stage prototype, who knows how many revisions it's been through since then. Another thing to consider is TC rads don't always measure up exactly to the PDF.

My numbers do appear to be surprisingly close for how I went about determining the size. I find myself wondering if that 50mm stated in the link is with the bungs and fan mounts or with out though.

A 140.3 is way to large for anything I build but I'm certainly looking forward to see if they make a 140.1 or 140.2 as I could probably use those.

    Ya, any word on a 140.2 ???

I will take more photos tonight

and lay the pa140.3 next to a 120.3

will get a tape measure and measure all surfaces

Incidently though this is a prototype,. its is the LAST prototype, I.E when the units are manufactured, they will have no changes at all. So in otherwords its a RTM model.

edit: the fan spacing is much closer together this time!

Measurements would be greatly appreciated. I based all my measurements off both the PDF and the one pic you have of the rad against the case. I used a 120.2 that I have beside me to properly size the pic according to the bung and mixed/matched and tweaked the measurements from there.

My statement about the prototype was in reference to the link posted where Cathar mentioned some dimensions but, they were for the very first prototype made almost 4 years ago.

Yeah, the fan spacing looked like it was 15mm to me.

To the left is a Pa120.2 TO THE RIGHT IS A 120.3 and in the centre is the 140.3 in question.
