im going do be getting some rev 1.2 dominators, that and they are said to be d9's and where 33 shipped

There are some D9 G.Skill 6400 HZ, Kingston HyperX 8500 and Corsair Dominator 6400 for cheap around the net. Newegg has the Dominator 6400's for like $25 after $40 mail-in-rebate but just look at all the recent reviews, not good. I'm assuming that's where you got them from. Most are claiming DOA and Newegg's policy on RAM has changed. 30 day replacement only. After that you deal with Corsair and are sure to get revision 5.1 or something. 6/10 reviews on the first page alone are saying junk. If you can actually get the rebate then $25 might nor be too much of a gamble.

That's why I went ahead and ordered the Team Xtreem 9600 D9GKX for a bit of a premium. They have a lifetime warranty and are still selling them. You just have to work a bit to get an RMA if they fail.
