Thanks for your prompt reply, and assistance! You'll be a life saver if you can get me working !

I haven't tried these sticks individually in any of the slots. Never came to my mind, seeing it was working fine with stock / 1613 / and 1406 !

Also, should I be using Black or Yellow slots?

I've always used the Black slots on ASUS boards, as even back in the 478 days, these were 'supposedly' the ones to use. Ya know the old rule, use the slots furthest away from the CPU !

I've been reading up, and heard varying contradictory responses on that one.
