I just picked up an E8500 Batch #Q828A61A running that on an Asus P5Q deluxe and 2x2 gig corsair dominators. Just got the cpu up to 550 fsb with a low multi of 6 and 6.5 just to see if its capable. ps: all other settings left on auto, boots into windows sometimes and when it does fails blend.
Auto overvolts on this board so try (my settings at 566):

CPU PLL Voltage: --> set 1.56-1.60 (1.60)
FSB Termination Voltage: --> set 1.22-1.26 (1.22)
DRAM Voltage: what your ram needs for the speed you are running
NB Voltage: AUTO --> set 1.26-1.4 (1.32)
NB GTL Reference: AUTO
SBridge Voltage: AUTO
PCIE SATA Voltage: AUTO
