I dont know, I just set it and let it go, when I first got the cpu, didnt think anything of it since it passed the Occt 1 hour without a problem. since then I just leave it at 2.8ghz and everything I test it stays the same or goes higher I never lower it.
I guess I could do that...My wife does try to get me to watch American Idle with her ..... That is at least an hour I could tuff through.
