Why? are because slow first boot like i say or RAID controler this mobo dont stable?

Gigabyte have 10 SATA meanwhile RAMPAGE just 7 , i scare if SSD more cpeap and i use 3x RAID, 2 DVD RW , 2 HD data, no place for SSD....

This is weakness of rampage....

Gigabyte x58 extreme can be No1 the best Of x58 board if this issue can fix (RAID and cold boot)

No, because Micron D9 memory killed my RAID array, and I used a single hard-drive on my next install because RAID offered no benefits for what I did.

Thanks for your share yukon trooper , this will make me think twice buy gigabyte.... (to bad.. gigabyte have very good model and feature)

So what your opinion for the most stable and durable motherboard for X58? (beside overcloking/ for workstation) rampage extreme? EVGA X58?

No, no. My memory killed my RAID. Motherboard was fine.
