does anyone know where the "motherboard" temp sensor is on this board? i've noticed my Motherboard temp goes up and down based on my video card temps (dual Radeon 4870's). raising my VGA fans to 50% yesterday lowered my Motherboard temp by 15°C. i'm guessing it is because my hot video card VRM's are right next to my SB-to-NB heatpipe.

my plan now is to try to pry off the plate on the NB heatsink that says "Silent Pipe" and put a 40mm fan on my NB to keep it cool. has anyone ever done this? how is that metal plate held on to the NB heatsink? can i pry it off or will i have to cut it?
